McKenna's 2 Year Birthday

Yep McKenna is two-years-old! I seriously can't believe how fast she is growing up! 

She is so funny and smart-we couldn't be more proud of her! This year for McKenna's birthday, we had a little friend swim party at the lake.  A couple of days later we celebrated her birthday again with family.  

McKenna's Caldwell buddies, Clara, Ellie and Mallory, came to her friend party. They all had a blast burying each other in the sand and splashing in the water!

McKenna's family part was like Christmas! McKenna got so many fun things! She was so excited about everything!

July!!

The month of July has just flown by! We have had so much fun running Wake Central plus having lots of family visit.  Jordan's brother, Chase, and his family came to visit for a week.  It was so great to see them again and hang out with their adorable 3 kids!

Boise Zoo

We first got to go to the Boise Zoo! So fun!

The next day we went boating for the first time this summer.

McKenna loved being back with her cousins, Hailey, Caden, and Cameron! We are so grateful for Chase and Heather and their little family-they are great examples to us.

A monumental event happened this month. McKenna has long enough hair to have pigtails! YAY! I have been waiting for this day a long time!

This summer has been hot! We are in the water every day just so we can cool off- it has been awesome! McKenna is becoming quite the little swimmer/suntanned baby.

Back to Idaho

We have been home for almost 3 months here in Caldwell, ID.  I haven't had a chance to update my blog because we have been so busy! We have been getting ready for our business Wake Central Cable Park to open.  It opened this past weekend and it was awesome! We are so excited for the rest of the summer and for the great people we get to meet here at Wake Central! 

Mckenna is doing great and growing up so fast! She knows just about all her colors and is starting to talk like crazy! She is super busy and keeps me moving! I love her so much and am so grateful to get to hang out with her all day long!

Here's a look at what Wake Central is all about...

(It is basically water sports without the boat.  A cable pulls you across the lake.  There are obstacles to hit if you are feeling brave:)

McKenna loves her life here.  She loves rocks for some reason. She is basically covered in dirt and sand every day! Bath time is a must at the end of the date!

The Month of February 2012

I just have to say that the last couple months have just flown by for us! We are still enjoying Texas but are excited for the move home in May and spending the summer in Boise.

February was a great month for us. We have been busy with holidays, birthdays, and just having some good fun together!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a great Valentine's Day! We got to spend it with Jordan. Jordan took McKenna and I out on a special date-just the 3 of us:)

Happy 24th Birthday Jordan!

This year for Jordan's birthday we got to celebrate it with Chase's family-so fun! We had takeout from Rosa's Mexican Restaurant and Chocolate Caramel/Heath crunch/Whip cream Rice Crispy treat Wakeboard Cake! It was delicious!

It is so great to have birthdays because we get to celebrate that person for who that person is. Jordan is absolutely perfect for me! I am so grateful for him and all he does for our family. He is so fun and makes me a better person. He is such an awesome daddy for McKenna. We are so lucky to have him. We love you Jordan!

Carlsbad Caverns

This week McKenna and I traveled to Eunice, NM to stay with Jordan (this is where he stays so the commute to work is not as far). It was so amazing to get to see Jordan every night! However, there is not a lot in the town of Eunice, as you can imagine. There is a grocery store, a Family Dollar, a gym, and a library:) Well, the weekend came and we all needed to go do just something. Jordan researched and found the Carlsbad Caverns were about an hour and a half away. We jumped in the car to see what these caverns were all about. Wow! They were amazing-our pictures do not give them justice! (check them out online-the pictures are professional)

There is also an amazing park in Eunice! McKenna and I came here just about everyday-the weather was perfect for some afternoon fresh air!

Back to Midland

Well, McKenna and I came back to Midland for a couple of days. I have a pirate ship cake to make and lots of meals to cook before we head back to Eunice again. McKenna has been helping me in the kitchen a lot!

That's about it-lots of fun things going on here! I feel so blessed to have such a fun little family. I am so grateful to be a mom to such an awesome little girl. She is amazing and growing so fast. I couldn't ask for a better life-I am so lucky!
