McKenna's Birthday-3 Years Old!

McKenna's Birthday! August 30 2013

McKenna's latest favorite show is Dora the Explorer so I couldn't resist giving a full out Dora Adventure Birthday Party!

The kids were so concerned because Swiper the Fox swiped McKenna's birthday cake!

A backpack and map were a must to help save the day!

First, we had to go over Rainbow Star Bridge!

Then, off to cross the Pink Stone Path!

Finally, we made it to Swiper's hideout to find McKenna's Birthday Cake!

Cousin Cameron was the first to find the cake in the freezer- McKenna was so excited!

The Cake! SO fun to make!

We had an awesome day with our amazing & energetic little 3 year old!

She is so full of life and we love her so much!

Memorial Day Weekend-Glen Rose, TX

Jordan has been working so hard (60 hours a week!) and finally got a day off for Memorial Day. We had to take advantage! So we packed our bags and headed east to the much more beautiful side of Texas:). Jordan's brother Chase and his family came too (celebrating Chases wife's birthday!).
We first explored Fossil Rim Park. We went on a 2 hour guided tour through the park. This park is awesome because it has most of all the animals you would find in Africa-giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, etc... The animals would walk right up to the bus and want to be fed.
The next day we went to a dinosaur museum-so fun! The kids got dig for dinosaur fossil-they loved it!
Finally, we had to stop at the BSR cable park for Jordan:) he had a blast! Mckenna and I also enjoyed watching Jordan and picking the flowers around the lake!

Livin' the Southern Life

Well I recently was informed that I don't put pictures up anymore! So here is a glimpse of what the Johnsons have been up to for that last few months!

We are living in Midland, TX for next 6-8 months (depends on how long Jordan's project goes for the company he is working for right now. Same company he worked for last year). So we are enjoying the warm weather and spending time with Jordan's brother Chase and their family.

While Jordan works his 10 hour shift (60 hour week), McKenna and I find lots to do together. We love school time, library/story time, playing at the park and hanging out with cousins. She is getting so big and so smart! She knows all her letters and recognizes all her numbers up to 10! She is full of energy and plays pretend all day long. Our names change all day long-Princess Mommy and Princess McKenna, Little Foot and Peatree, Dora and Boots, etc. :)

Jordan and I still find time to do fun things to do (well fun for a desert!). Our latest hobby is tennis-our new weekly date night (free and fun!:)

McKenna's 2 Year Birthday

Yep McKenna is two-years-old! I seriously can't believe how fast she is growing up!

She is so funny and smart-we couldn't be more proud of her! This year for McKenna's birthday, we had a little friend swim party at the lake. A couple of days later we celebrated her birthday again with family.

McKenna's Caldwell buddies, Clara, Ellie and Mallory, came to her friend party. They all had a blast burying each other in the sand and splashing in the water!
